Come hang out with some really awesome people in "The Curb" in beautiful downtown Homewood! This task is to hand out race number (bib) and t-shirt (if the participant registered in advance of the t-shirt deadline, 4/22). The most important aspect is to be sure the correct number/bib is distributed and only the guaranteed t-shirts are distributed. We will order a few extra t-shirts that can be distributed on a first come/first serve basis.

Saturday May 6th, Race Day Setup Crew

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Early to rise wins the prize! Show up at Homewood Central Park picnic pavillion at 5:30AM to assist with finish line setup. Your jobs will include setting up tables for water/Powerade and finish line food organization, prepping the trash collection areas, assisting with sound setup, organization of awards table and helping as needed with the timing system setup. (The Right Time).

Saturday May 6th, Race Day Packet Pick Up

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Meet at Homewood Central Park picnic pavilion near Manhattan Street at 6:15AM. Race numbers (bibs) and t-shirts will be distributed from 6:30AM-7:15AM. Once the race begins, you will assist in packing up the registration area and t-shirts and transition to finish line food and water redistribution as needed.

Saturday May 6th, Scoop and Scurry- Cat Herder =)

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 11 more volunteers needed.

Love kiddos? Want to help organize them for the one mile Scoop and Scurry Fun Run? Show up at Central Park, backside near Manhattan Street, at the staging area for the race. BE THERE BY 7:45AM to get prepped for the 8:40 Scoop and Scurry. Following the 5K race finish, Neighbors Ice Cream will be onsite to hand over cups of ice cream to the kiddos who complete the one mile fun run. The start and finish of the Fun Run will be the finish line of the 5K. When the kids begin to arrive, we need assistance in organizing them behind the start line for the start of the run, we also need helpers at the mid-point turnaround to make sure the kids run around the cone and back, staying to the right so there are no head-on collisions!

Saturday May 6th, Clean Up Crew

Details

Meet at Central Park picnic pavilion near Manhattan Street at 8:15AM. We can't cross the finish line of our amazing event without cleaning up! Leave it better than we found it. Collect trash, pack up awards not picked up, take down sound system, pick up course markers and any other items from our amazing day.
