Work on either Thursday or Friday night handing out packets (shirts, bibs & safety pins) to registered runners & walkers. We will also be conducting onsite registration for those wishing to register for the Go Big Blue 4 Miler at these sessions. Thursday's PPU will be at a Kroger location TBA. Friday's PPU will be at Kroger Field at a Gate TBA as a lead up to the Blue/White Football Scrimmage.

Race Headquarters Medium Priority

Work on race day (Saturday 4/14/18) from 6:30-10:30am on various tasks at our Race Headquarters (Gate 12 area of Kroger Field). Registration, Packet Pickup, Gear Check, Awards and Food/Drink will be handled by this Race HQs Volunteer Team.

Water Stop Volunteer Medium Priority

Details

Work at one of our 2 water stations along the 4 Mile course handing out water in small cups to passing runners and walkers. Shift runs from 7:30am-9:30am. Volunteers should report to Kroger Field, Gate 12 (Volunteer Tent) at/by 7:30am where you'll be provided instructions and sent to your appropriate station. Dress for the weather as you'll be working outside.

Course Marshal Medium Priority

Details

Your job will involve standing at an assigned corner/position on the 4 Mile course and making sure that runners/walkers proceed in the proper direction. You also serve as an extra set of eyes and ears on the course in the event of emergency or if a runner is injured. Shift is from 7:30-9:45am and you should report to Kroger Field/Gate 12 area by 7:30am. You'll be provided your assignment/position there.
