This position helps with setting up the inside of Loy Norrix High School for the event early.

You will help with: setting up tables, getting all the materials and event day items in place

Details

Directing runners and keeping them safe along the route are key. Duties include a proper understanding of the course, being able to stop pedestrian and/or traffic while runners cross. Standing for long periods of time is required. This is an outdoor opportunity.
Time will vary depending on location. Commitment is 7:00 am until last runner passes by you.

Sunday - Set-up

Details

Duties include labeling and organizing runner's belongings when they drop off, and retrieving them in a timely manner at the end of the race. Bending and lifting is required for this role. This is an indoor/outdoor opportunity.

Details

Runners love their race "bling" and a hearty congratulations when they cross the finish line. Enthusiastic people right here! Congratulate runners and put medals around their necks if runners allow. During slow time cheer for runners, not all four need to be handing out medals except in the peak finish time. This is an opportunity that requires standing and is entirely outdoors.

Sunday - Spotter

Details

Hearing your name as you approach the finish line is a great motivator. Assist announcer by using binoculars to identify bib numbers for runners approaching the finish. Call out the bib numbers seen to Bib Look-up. This is an outdoor, standing volunteer opportunity.

Sunday - Bib Look-up

This team player punches in bib numbers called out by the spotter. This allows the announcer to call out finishers names as they approach the finish. This is an outdoor, standing volunteer opportunity.

Work as a team tearing down/moving start/finish line equipment such as cones, ropes, signs, etc. This is a bending, lifting, movement filled opportunity! This is an indoor/outdoor opportunity.

Sunday - Misc Help - Help Anywhere and Anytime

Details

This is a perfect position for someone who is willing to help fill in volunteer holes. This person will float to a variety of areas to assist with multiple tasks. This opportunity will include both indoor and outdoor tasks.
