Support the race along the course post race as assigned by Director of Volunteering. You will be directing runners safely at various intersections. Usually work in team of 2-5 people. May also need to place cones
must arrive by 7:45 pm complet by 11:30 am

Tasks include
1. Flyer handout in community and at local races
2. Swag bag stuffing and product pickup
3. Race setup
4. Lawn sign placement
Hand out Flyers, hang signage, neighborhood announcement, Support race setup and preparations tasks
Various tasks such as Start fire, stuff the bags, hang banners and setup awards area. 12/6 & 12/7

Pre-Race: Shoot Candids of Registration process, Hot Cocoa brewing, vendors,etc. Get Froste with the people - ask Froste to pose hugging, peace outing, fun stuff. Get shots of the vendors at thier tables, get dog photos.
National Anthem: Video Tape this maybe use smart phone; pan the crowd then back to singer
Photograph Race start: use different angles
Photograph finish line & finishers: crossing , approaching, get finish banner.

Pre-Race- Shoot Candids of Registration process, Hot Cocoa brewing, Yard candids,etc. Get Frosty with the people. Always make frosty pose and dance for the camera
Depart for Lake immediately after Anthem you may hve froste with you
Your responsibility is get bulk runners with awesome Lake scenery behind. Get bulk runners at the 3 designated vantage points- First shots from position#1 - driveway 178 & 184 Pinebrook Point diagonal with traffic to get bulk runners as they approach with lake. further instruction will be provide pre-race

Details

You start at 6:45am. Team of 2-3 of you; Pre-Race: Stir every 5 minutes using wooden spoon; Always wear the Gloves and Use the lid lifter. Keep pot covered to avoid evaporation. Add water as it evaporates off, keep an eye on height in pot. Add wood to fire as necessary ; DO NOT serve Hot Cocoa before the race (volunteers only) Tell runners "Its not done -still brewing". Cups will be given out post race when chip returned. If you're assigned to an intersection as well, you MUST get orientation at 8:30, return to post afterwards, but leave by 9:00 for intersection posts. During Race: Continue same steps. Start serving as soon as runners arrive. Fill cups � - � only: Do Not Forget to ask to add Schnapps!!...and add a splash to their cup not the cauldron.
During & Post Race: Continuing stirring every 5 minutes and look to add water. Serve guests, Fill cups � - � only: Do Not Forget to ask to add Schnapps!!...add a splash if requested to the cups not cauldron.
