Finish Line

Details

Help congratulate the runners as they finish by handing them their medal of completion and a bottle of water. Cheer them on through the finish and guide them to the snack table. Show your best smile and wear your best costume if you would like to!

Water Station 5K High Priority

Details

Water station volunteers are responsible for filling cups supplied halfway from the water jug supplied. Also watch runners for health and report any issues back to timing tent

Location

on the way out to the 5 K turnaround, report to the registration tent an hour before race start

Water Station 10K High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

On the way to and back from the 10K turnaround. Responsibilities are to fill water cups supplied halfway from water jug and to monitor runners and alert if there are any difficulties. This station also notifies the street crossing cop (if there is one) of when the last runner has passed and when they can leave their station

Location

Report to registration tent one hour prior to the start of race.

Finish Line Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Hand out finisher medals and water at the finish. Possibly take down numbers of runners coming in for the timing

Location

Report to timing tent 45 minutes before start of race

Turnaround course monitor

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Direct runners which direction to go and when to turnaround.
