Greenbush Challenge - Please Note Revised Schedule

The Greenbush Challenge is a cross country ski race event for youth and adults to be held on Sat., Feb. 14, 2026 at the Kettle Moraine State Forest - Greenbush Trails, hosted by the Northern Kettle Moraine Nordic (NKMN) Storm Ski Team. 

Schedule has been revised due to warming conditions as follows:

9:00 am  Middle School Freestyle Boys/Girls, 4.0 km - 4 Wave Starts

10:00 am  High School Freestyle Boys/Girls, 8.2 km - 4 Wave Starts

10:10 am  Men's and Women's (18 & older) 14.6 km Freestyle, 2 laps of the HS Course - Men then Women Wave Mass Starts

12:00 pm  Children's Race - 1 km untimed mass start (free) 

-Adults 18 and older are to register by using RunSignup up to Saturday, 9:00 am prior to the event: https://runsignup.com/  $30 per skier thru Fri., Feb.13, $40 for day of race registration fee.

-Coaches of youth ski teams are to register for the Middle School and High School races by submitting a roster by Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 11:59 pm to tracksidetiming@gmail.com and to nkmnyouth@gmail.com  Teams are to pay a $15 per skier race fee on the morning of the event when picking up your bibs at the Shelter Building. Make checks out to NKMNSC. 

-Final Race Courses will be determined to week prior to the event based on snow conditions.

-Chip timing by Trackside Timing.

-Wisconsin State Park Sticker and Trail Pass (age 16 and older) are required. Parking in a lot only. No parking on the road!

-Concessions will be available in the Shelter Building. Cash only.

-Proceeds will be used to support the NKMN Storm Youth Ski Program.
