Start, Finish and Expo

Start and Finish are located at:
10600 Westminster Blvd, Westminster, CO 80021 (Westminster Promenade Terrace)

Course Surface

This course is on Big Dry Creek Trail, which is primarily CONCRETE with sections of hard packed gravel.  There are a few wooden foot bridges which may be slippery when wet.

Well trained, leashed dogs are welcome on this course, as well as strollers.  Please be mindful of others when running with a dog or a stroller and do not impede your fellow runners!

Cup-Free Finish Line

Although there are cups on the course at each aid station, remember that we always maintain a 'cup free finish'.  The Westminster location has a drinking fountain at the Terrace and there are coolers for refilling your personal water bottle at the expo area.

Parking
Parking is available on a limited basis right next to the Terrace on the south side of Promenade Way.  Additional parking is available in the surrounding areas near the Promenade.  View the parking map HERE. Please do not park at Christopher Fields/The Memorial Garden.

Course Support

Port-a-Johns will be at the Expo (start/finish) and at approximately miles 3 and 7.25 of the 10 miler course. (Which is just after the second water station). This is very close to the 10k turnaround.
There are no port-a-johns on the 5k course.

5kers will see one water station, two time.  The 10k will have four opportunities for water and the 10 Milers will see water stations seven times at approximately miles 1, 2.5, 4.5, 5.5, 6.5 7.5 and 9.  Each water station will have cups for water and an electrolyte replacement drink. The northern most water station, that you see three times, will have GU's (miles 3.25, 5, and 6.5).

All courses are OUT and BACK, which means runners need to stay to the right to avoid oncoming racers.

Course Cut-Off

The 10 Miler course support and timing will be open for 2:40:00.  Racers must average at least 16 minutes per mile to remain on the course and receive course support.
