Whisker Run 5K and 1 Mile Dog Walk
Join us for the 2nd Annual Whisker Run 5K and 1 Mile Dog Walk on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the beautiful Sunset Hill County Park! Hosted by Race the Region, this event supports the Hobart Humane Society and promises a fun-filled evening for a great cause.
The Whisker Run 5K offers participants the chance to run or walk a cross-country course that local high school and collegiate teams compete on each fall. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, the 1 Mile Dog Walk is the perfect option. Bring your furry friends and enjoy a scenic stroll together!
After crossing the finish line, stick around for an incredible post-race party, featuring food trucks, live music, and a chance to unwind with the community. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair to kick back and celebrate the evening with us.
Additionally, participants can enter a raffle to win fabulous gift baskets, with proceeds benefiting the Hobart Humane Society.

- Online Registration: All participants are required to register online. Online registration will continue to be available until 6:15 PM on race day

- Unclaimed awards after 14 days will be donated or recycled.
