On January 28th, I am participating in the Boston Bruins BFit Challenge on the MR8 Team. The Martin Richard Foundation (MR8) are raising funds exclusively for the LEADER program at McLean Hospital.
LEADER stands for Law Enforcement, Active Duty, Emergency Response. This program provides specialized mental health and addiction services, specifically for men and women in uniform.
As a first responder, this program is important to me given the calls and situations my brothers and sisters see and go through each shift.
