Miles for Maya

I am walking in the Miles for Maya 5K this year to help raise money to support Maya Angelou Public Charter School.  I believe that education can help change the trajectory of a person's life, but traditional education models don't always work for every student.  At Maya, they work to provide opportunity and justice-involved youth the personalized support they need to be successful.  But individualized support plans and services are more resource intensive than traditional models.
