I am excited to participate in the 37th Annual The Ben to the Shore, which supports the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation!
This year as last year I will be riding for Team Chanpions in support of Officer Andy Chan of the Philadelphia Highway Patrol who was critically injured when he was struck by a motorist while on his way to work on his Highway Patrol Motorcycle. As a result of his catastrophic injuries he requires round-the-clock care and his family needs all the support we can give. Any amount no matter how small is of great help. The Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation (FBBCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to improving the lives of children in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey area. We achieve this by providing necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders (police officers, firefighters, EMTs) and cultivating positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve.
