I have a birthday coming up. I would ask that you consider donating to help these dogs. Or better yet, sign up and participate yourself! If you aren't a runner, they have a sit in challenge, where you try to spend 20 hours of one day in a 42" square.
My Nina spent the first 4 years of her life spending 20 hours a day in a kennel. Most dogs are forced to find 85-90 races in their careers. Nina ran 135 raced. When I met her, she was traumatized. Afraid of people, sounds, being alone. But she is the sweetest dog, loves to be petted, and loves playing catch.
Please help the thousands of other dogs out there who, like Nina, would prefer a cozy bed over a kennel, and choosee to run for fun.
