Hello!
The Healing Hearts Walk/Run for Suicide Prevention benefits the free suicide prevention programs for Crisis Support Services of Alameda County on May 4th at the Lakeside Park at Lake Merritt in Oakland.
This is an event with a mission to reduce the stigma of talking about suicide, create a healing space for those who lost loved ones to suicide, and to join the community in solidarity. Together we can:
- Raise money for a good cause
- Make a positive impact in our lives and the lives of others
- Brings members of our community together to advocate for acceptance, love, and support.
- Directly support the people in our lives who struggle publicly or privately with depression, anxiety, loneliness or hopelessness
- Have fun together
Sometimes, it may be hard to communicate to someone who is struggling to see hope that you care, but this Walk/Run gives us an opportunity to show that WE CARE.
