Peaks to Portland, A Swim for Kids

Weeks of training have finally convinced me that I can do this race one more time. I've estimated it will take me roughly 3500 strokes to propel myself from Peaks Island to Portland, so I'm setting my fundraising goal at $350, just 10 cents per stroke! If I can persuade 10 of my fans to pledge a penny a stroke, I'll make my goal!  It's for a great cause, the local Y.  And oh, yes, a quick scan of the 200 registered swimmers shows that I have the distinction of being the oldest registered competitor.  Just saying.
