It's fundraising time! I'm raising money for the 4th year for Bark in the Park to support the lifesaving work we do at the Toledo Humane Society.
💜This year, I stepped into a new role. After being on animal care for a couple of years, I am now a part of the Behavior Department, where I work hands on with animals from all kinds of backgrounds, including abuse, neglect, hoarding, and even dog fighting. Many come to us scared or shut down, and I am able to help them build trust, learn new skills, and gain the confidence they need to find loving homes!
💜I've also continued fostering! This year I cared for a sweet puppy who suffered from seizures and other medical issues. He needed specialized care and was ultimately transferred to a shelter in Traverse City that could support his long-term needs. I've also fostered kittens who were too young and needed a temporary home to grow big and strong!
💜And of course, I added another permanent member to the family; Brantley, a pup from an accidental litter, is now the perfect little brother to Chesney.
Every dollar you donate helps us care for, rehabilitate, and rehome thousands of animals each year. We couldn’t do it without you!💜
