Dear Family and Friends,
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed so much for so many, and has tested our individual and collective resilience in new ways. That said, I've never been prouder to work alongside so many incredible colleagues who are quite literally saving lives every day. At the time of this writing, Sun River Health has provided the COVID-19 vaccine to more than 100,000 individuals living in our communities and provided health services, resources, and compassionate care to so many more.
This month, I am participating in a marathon event to raise money for Sun River Health's Employee Emergency Response Fund
This fund provides Sun River Health with a source of funding to fill critical gaps and meet immediate staff needs that address acute, in-the-moment demands that can help bolster patient care, address resource needs, and assist with financial emergencies to help staff. Examples for how funds will be used are emergency grants to staff to cover personal and family hardships, staff programs to reduce stress, organizational staff engagement efforts, and staff education initiatives.
