Why I Support the American Cancer Society
At 12 years old, the same age my son is now my Mother Ronnie was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. in 1996 the options and prognosis were okay, but not great. Sadly after two years and a long fight my Mother lost her battle to cancer. What she didn't lose was the love and fight that burned in her daughter (me...Pam) After going to nursing school to be able to help those in the worst times of their lives, and having my own family, something was still "not finished", I just didn't know what. 

After years of trying to figure it out, it came to me, I never said thank you...Thank you to the people that helped my mother, I was too angry. So now it's time to give back, time to say thank you. Please help me fundraise for the American Cancer Society. I know my story is not the only one that you, (yes you reading this) know all too well. If you or someone you love has lost, won, or continues to fight please donate what you can. Every bit helps. Every bit is a quiet THANK YOU.
