Please support us or join us on Shuffle Sunday - April 19th
“I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOU! When I think of Brooke Lauren Shockley, that’s the first thing that comes to mind… because she said it to everyone, all the time. More importantly, she meant it. That girl knew how to give love and receive love. And we love, love, loved her so much.
Beloved Brooke would have been 29 years old this year. As it is every year, this outreach is my way of honoring her. Brooke & her Mom spent more than 18 months at the Ronald McDonald House before she succumbed to osteosarcoma. She was brave, smart, funny, sassy, creative, loving and full of faith. She was only 14 years old but taught all of us lessons about finding joy even in the darkest parts of our journey. Like all of our RMH children, Brooke symbolizes hope, humor, grace and courage in the face of incredible adversity.
Brooke loved the Ronald McDonald House and she especially loved the Red Shoe Shuffle. I hope you will help Paul & I to celebrate Brooke and the thousands of brave and beautiful children who come through our doors each year by joining us on Sunday, April 19th or by making a donation to our Shuffle page. Our goal is to have 55 friends donate $55 each in celebration of the 55 families who stay with us at RMH every night, 365 days of the year.
With Love & Appreciation, Sandy & Paul
Thank you for supporting the Ronald McDonald House’s mission of keeping families together when they need it most and is what makes RMH the House that Love Built
