Inge was my mom's best friend and a second mom to me. She made me clothes. She celebrated my successes. She was with me at the birth of my daughter. She supported me through marriage and divorce. 

She was smart and loving and infinitely capable. She was a mentor, a protector, and a dear friend. 

We'll never know, for sure, if she would have lived longer if the cancer had been detected earlier. We'll never know, for sure, if the intense battles with both the disease, and the grueling rounds of treatments, could have been avoided, or minimized. But the probability is good...if only they had known...

We now know that so many cancers can be treated if they are identified early. Recovery from many cancers is on the rise. And we still don't have a reliable early detection test for ovarian cancer. You can help change that. We can help change that.
