I'm proudly supporting Semper Fi & America's Fund as a community athlete for the 2024 Chicago Marathon Semper Fi & America's Fund Team.
Why am I supporting the Semper Fi Fund? This is my 3rd race raising money for the Semper Fi and America's fund because I sincerely believe in it.
If you donate to my fundraising campaign, I will add any song you want to my race playlist. Every song I listen to will remind me of your support and why we worked so hard to support the SFF.
I know what you're thinking and the answer is yes - you can submit a song more than once...i.e. I will listen to the same song 5 times, or as many times, if that is what you want. (i.e I will listen to T-Swift the entire marathon if that is what you want). I will publish my playlist the weekend of the Marathon.
I plan to complete the marathon in 4 hours -- that is 240 minutes of music. An average time of a song is about 3 minutes. That means I need at least 80 songs to complete the marathon effectively.
I will post a weekly roll up of the songs you've selected to ensure transparency (and potential colluding by you) to know what songs have been selected for my playlist.

Many of my peers and colleagues that I served with overseas have received overwhelming support from the SFF throughout the past 20 years of war. Now that our wars are over, organizations such as the SFF is continuing to work hard to ensure we're continuously taken care of.
