Story

I'm excited to participate in my first Peaks to Portland swim! This race has been on my bucket list for years, it's finally back on after a Covid pause, I haven't been scared sh#tless in a while (can you poop your pants in a wetsuit?), and my knees can't take another ultramarathon so I'm taking a stab at 2.4 miles across the Bay.  

Most importantly, this race is a fundraiser for the YMCA of Southern Maine's programs for children, so not only is this my annual "I can do hard things" reminder but it's also for a good cause that impacts the very community I (and many of you) live in.
