19 years ago Ally was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus and underwent her first brain surgery. Despite the other complex medical events that come up every few years, this is the one event that changed our lives forever. Hydrocephalus connected us with the most strong, loving, amazing families and friends and we wouldn't change it for the world!
Ally is now in college studying bio and chem to pursue an advanced degree in research! It was research that helped find better treatment for HER Hydrocephalus and we hope to be the ones to help find new treatments for others through the PHF.
