Come join me in Casey Cares 5K run/walk through the Baltimore Zoo, either in-person or virtually. My team is called – Endless Summer, or you can make a donation on my fundraiser page. Your support will have a direct impact and will help provide fun activities for children who are fighting for their lives. How do I know, because when I was 2 years old, I had Leukemia, a blood Cancer. I went through three years of chemotherapy treatment, fighting for my life. I'm happy to report that I have been in remission for 14 years now!
During my treatment years, the Casey Cares Foundation supported our entire family when we needed it the most. We truly wouldn't have been able to enjoy the small things in life without them providing tickets to places like Disney on Ice, Orioles & Ravens games, pizza & movie tickets. They also surprised me with having Batman show up at my house for my birthday, yes Batman. I have a soft spot for Casey Cares and can't thank them enough for everything they did for me.
