Twin City Track Club is pleased to host several unique and high quality running events each year. To learn more, click on the links below for each respective race.
Frosty Fifty
Held at Salem Lake each year in early January. Five different events from a 5K night race to a 50K trail race.
Five Dollar 5K
A low-key race held on Tuesday evenings, once a month from April to October. For those wanting a little more competition, there is $5K race series with points awarded based upon finishing times throughout the 7 race series.
Five events in a late June evening, four on the track and a 5K cross country. You must complete all five events to get a finishing score and receive the coveted Ultimate Runner t-shirt and a 4.91 Ultimate Runner car decal.
Beat the Heat held on a July evening has been one of the most popular races in North Carolina for more than 30 years! Beat the Heat is the official 2025 RRCA North Carolina State 5K Championship.
Join us for a fun and challenging 5K or 10K trail race held in August each year! The cross country start quickly funnels into a 5K and 10K single track course.
Come join us in late September for the 30K (18.6 miles), 7 mile, or 5K (3.1 miles) run on the beautiful, mostly shaded, wooded trail surrounding Salem Lake. Enjoy a well-organized event that is a great tune up for any fall marathons.
