Hey friends!
Please help me raise awareness and money so I can participate in the kick off walk for "Give Life" this October 6th at Eisenhower Park! Organ transplant has rocked the world of some very special people in my life. It opened my eyes to the desperation of a person on the transplant list and all of the red tape/obstacles they can face.
Thankfully, my friend Chris is out of the woods and getting back to living his life. His journey was long and painful but he fought for his daughters, his wife and for himself. His angel of a wife Barbara (god love her) got tested and was a perfect match, she was able to give him a Kidneys, how amazing is that! This got him healthy enough so he could be a recipient for another organ and was lucky enough to receive one from another person...
This is a world that most of us wont have to think about.
On October 6th, I will be walking with the Schully Strong team...I could really use your help reaching my goal!
