What does is mean to "Become a Fundraiser"?
By becoming a fundraiser, you will help us increase awareness about the realities of youth homelessness in our community. Your participation in the Challenge and fundraising for HOME Youth Services will further our mission of putting Compassion in Motion!
By becoming a fundraiser, you are stepping up to show youth they matter, that they have an important role in our community and that they deserve a safe place to call home. We encourage people from all walks of life to join together to educate themselves on the realities of youth homelessness in our community and to amplify the youth voice.
And you get to set up your own fundraising page with a specialized link you can share with all your friends and family! You’ll also be able to share your page through Facebook! You will set a goal amount and ask friends and family to donate to your personalized fundraiser for 2k Steps HOME.
Make sure to share your personal connection to HOME Youth Services on your personal fundraising page and in your messages on social media. And don’t be shy about asking friends and family to donate. Showing your personal connection about why you are fundraising for HOME will show them that our cause is important to you and our community. Together, we can keep putting Compassion in Motion. Together, we will amplify the voices of our youth in need.
