ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

What is the Support Our Scholars 5K?
The Support Our Scholars 5K is a virtual challenge to run or walk 5K (3.1 miles) from May 21-27. Friends of the Evans Scholars Program all across the country are hitting the streets to show their support for our Evans Scholars.

When is the race?
The virtual race starts on Saturday, May 21, 2022, and ends on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Is there a specific app I need to use to track my results?
Nope! You may track your miles with any app, watch, fitness device or best guess. We just want to see you moving!

Can I use a treadmill?
Yes, you may!

When will I receive my t-shirt and race medal?
We will begin mailing our exclusive race packages after the end of the race. Please allow 3-4 weeks for your package to arrive.

 

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT FAQS
 

How do I download my bib?
Click here to visit your Profile. From there, you will see "View Digital Bib" on the right panel of your registration for this event. You must be logged into your RSU account to access this. You do not need to wear a bib during this Challenge.

How do I resend my confirmation email?
RunSignUp allows you to access your registration through your Profile. From there, you can resend your confirmation email if you have misplaced it, or if you have not received it. 

Note: If you did not receive your confirmation, make sure to check your Spam/Clutter folders.

You will always be able to resend the registration confirmation for any registrations associated with your Profile (including any sub-accounts of yours) by following these steps:

  1. Sign In to RunSignUp.
  2. Go to your Profile.
  3. See your events under Upcoming Events.
  4. Click Resend Confirmation next to the registration that you would like to resend the confirmation email.
  5. Check the email listed in your Profile for your registration confirmation.
  6. Click Resend Confirmation next to the registration that you would like to resend the registration confirmation.

At that point, the confirmation email will be sent to the email address associated with that registration. If the original confirmation message did not send because you had a typo in an email address, you will need to update this information as explained in How to Correct Typo/Modify Profile.

How do I reset my password? 
If you ever happen to forget your password, simply open up the Login page, and click Forgot Password? At this point, you can enter in the email address you use to access your RunSignup account, and click on the button labeled Send Reset Password Link

After clicking the “Reset Password” button, you will receive an email with a unique link allowing you to reset the password for your RunSignUp account.

 

SUBMISSION FAQS

 

How do I submit my time?
Click here to visit your Profile. From there, you will see "Submit Virtual Results" and other options on the right panel of your registration for this event. You must be logged into your RSU account to access this. Miles must be logged within the challenge time frame of May 21-27, 2022. You can track your distance with a number of different phone apps (Strava, Garmin Connect, etc.), your watch, or your favorite fitness device.

Do I need to submit proof?
No, this virtual challenge is based on the honor system. Due to the manual nature of submitting your results, we request that you uphold the integrity of our sport and submit only results that are honest and accurate to the best of your ability.
