For those of you who aren’t Star Wars nerds, the name of this group is based on a quote from Han Solo, while trying to navigate an asteroid field. When C-3PO tries to tell him their chances of making it through, Solo cuts him off with this quote. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Diane Baringer, and I am a Star Wars nerd, and have also been fighting breast cancer since early in 2023 - and beating the odds.

This team is running / walking / jogging / dancing our way to help other local breast cancer patients and their families with financial and emotional support while they are in treatment. For example:

$1,750 helps pay rent and mortgage payments.

$1,500 helps pay for car repairs and transportation costs so she can get to and from her treatments.

$1,000 helps pay for household needs and groceries while she’s out of work.

$500 helps with home heating bills.

$250 helps with utility bills and groceries.

Any amount helps support patients in need NOW.
