Ole Uffda - Virtual Loppet

The Camrose Ski Club is proud to host the Ole Uffda Virtual Loppet

Choose your own distance and format and compete virtually against other skiers on our beautiful trails here in Camrose. 

• You can decide when you want to race, the distance, and format.
• Race as many times and categories as you want.
• The Camrose ski club does ask that you
  • Adhere to all Alberta Health Services Covid Guidelines 
  • Nordiq Alberta's Alberta Safe Return to Play Protocols.

Who can race

This race is free to register and open to anyone that wants to ski.

When to race

Challenge yourself and race against others between February 1st 2021 and February 28 2021

Distances and Categories

Ski as many different courses and categories you want or ski the same course and category multiple times.

1.5 km - Freestyle

You can classic or skate ski this loop

Classic Courses

Pick the right wax and challenge yourself to a classic ski on the 3km, 5km, 10km loop.  You could also ski the 10km loop 3 times for our 30km classic event.

Skate Courses

 Find the right glide wax and skate ski on the 3km, 5km, and 10km courses.

Registration

Registration opens January 9 and competition runs between February 1 to February 28.

• You can compete as often as you want, and in multiple categories and distances and update your time as you climb the leaderboard. 

Results

You can log your results anytime between February 1 to February 28 and climb the Ole Uffda Challenge Leaderboard

• You will log your results on the Results Tab on the Challenge Website, then clicking Submit Virtual Results.
• We'll keep track of your progress, and you can see where you stack up on the leaderboard.
• As tall of the Ole Uffda courses run on a set course you do not need to upload a GPS file, you only need to upload your time.
  • You can attempt the course as many times as you like and post your fastest time

Prizes

The Camrose Ski is proud to support local businesses with our prizes.  For every event you ski you will be entered into a draw for the prizes.  The draw will be made on March 1.
