Two Rivers Funjor Dryland Races

All experience levels and all types of dogs are welcome to participate.

Your dog MUST be physically capable of comfortably completing the distance you enter. If you don’t have an actual dog, you can run with a stuffed animal dog or toy, just no cats. If you choose to run with a toy, you will be at a disadvantage to people with actual dogs that will be pulling them down the trail.

All races start at Pleasant Valley Store, mile 23 CHSR.

Bib pick-up (for those pre-registered) or race-day registration must complete by 10:50 am, which is when the pre-race meeting will be held. Registration will open at 9:00 am inside the store.

• 2 Dog 10K Bikejor will start at 11:00 am with 15 second interval starts. All participants will be ranked in one class.
• 1 Dog 10K Bikejor will start at 11:05 am with 15 second interval starts. All participants will be ranked in one class.
• 5K Canicross will start at 11:15 am as a mass start. All participants will be ranked in one class.
• 1K Canicross Relay will start at 11:15 am. It will be a mass start. Each leg will be 1K, there are 3 legs, the total race is 3K.

Equipment Requirements

• Helmets and a shock absorbent line measuring 2.5 - 3 meters in length when extended are required for the bikejor class. All dogs in all classes must be fastened to a harness and not attached at the neck.
• Muzzles are prohibited.

TRDMA Member Entry Fees

• Canicross $20
• 2 Dog 10K Bikejor $20
• 1 Dog 5K Bikejor $20
• Relay $10/person (x3 for a team is $30)

Non-TRDMA Member Entry Fees

• Canicross $25
• 2 Dog 10K Bikejor $25
• 1 Dog 5K Bikejor $25
• Relay $15/person (x3 for a team is $45)

Rules

A racer is finished when whichever part of your outfit crosses the finish line first.

If it makes sense for you to move over and stop to let someone from behind by, please do so. If they ask for trail, they caught you, and are most likely they are faster than you. Stay back until it is obvious that you are actually faster than them, then politely ask for trail again.

This is meant to be a laid-back, fun event. We ask that all participants are cordial to each other, the dogs, and race volunteers. Failure to do any of these things will result in disqualification at the discretion of the race marshal.

Trail Description

The trail will be explained on race day. Each race will have distinct trail markers to follow and a map will be posted ASAP.
