Blueberry season is here and Ketchikan Running Club is pleased to host the Blueberry Fun Run which includes the 1 mile fun run, 5k, and 10k. The 2023 race brings back the authentic start line on Grant Street and is proudly sponsored by Bawden Street Brewery, Peace Health, Tongass Trading Co, Vigor and the Chief Petty Officer's Association (CPOA.)
Each person to register will earn a performance t-shirt and a silicone pint mug.
BONUS for the first 50 people (ages 21+) to register - they will receive a free 16oz pour token from Bawden Street Brewery!

Register online until 7:00 pm on Thursday August 3rd. Bib & shirt pick up, as well as in-person registration, will be available on Friday August 4, from 4:30-7:30pm at the Rec Center. Last minute bib pick up (no registration) will be available for all events from 8:15-8:45 race morning at the starting line- please plan accordingly.

Classic Blueberry routes are back this year, each beginning and ending at the intersection of Grant St and Main St by the Ketchikan Police Department.
1 Mile Fun Run (click for a link to the map)
The original 1 Mile Fun Run is back! 1 milers will begin on Grant Street heading toward the Schoenbar trail. At the marked turn around, racers will follow Schoenbar Trail back to the "Y" and hang left, heading onto Harris St. Harris Street will bring them to Park Ave where they will cross the road (with a KRC Volunteer) and head down Park Ave , taking a right onto Dock St. Following Dock St, taking a right on Main Street and finishing at the intersection where they began at Grant St and Main St.
1 Milers will receive a t-shirt and silicone mug
The 5K and 10K racers will begin at the same time- 9:30 beginning at the intersection of Grant St and Main St.

Racers will head up Grant Street to the Schoenbar Trail, continuing through the trail to Schoenbar Road and Park Avenue. Following Park Avenue around City Park to Deermont Street where racers will head down hill to Stedman St (Tongass Ave.) A KRC volunteer will be at the street crossing as runners cross and continue to head south toward the USCG station.
5K racers will turn around at the far end of the USCG station and head back to the street crossing. After crossing back to the land side, the route continues along Stedman St (Tongass Ave) as it turns into Mill St and again to Front St. Racers will finish strong taking a right from Front St back onto Grant St and finishing where they began at the intersection of Grant and Main St.
