Ascend Alaska

The race for those of us who want to suffer through our vert training without witnesses!

Pfffttt.  Forget distance challenges.  We've ALL had our fair share of virtual races this past year.  Lets transcend the mileage and go for the climb without having to actually complete it all in one day!

In theory, it's a pretty simple task:  Choose your challenge and climb the equal amount of feet climbed/run/crawled/clawed.  In reality:  Probably not as simple as it sounds!  This is why we are breaking it into a month-long challenge... anything can be completed when broken into small pieces.  

There are a total of 7 distinctly Alaskan peaks to choose from for this event.  If you are a Denali level climber, go for it!  If The Butte is more your challenge, you got it!    There are also points in between.  You will choose the climb that most fits what is challenging to YOU and have some fellow competitors taking on the same challenge.   Once you hit that elevation, it's up to you if you want to continue logging or call it good!  

Choose wisely and choose something challenging and stretch your limits this summer.
