What:

Happy Run is a free community event that takes place every Monday evening. You can choose to run, walk, roll etc. It is a family friendly event, and dogs are welcome as long as they remain on a leash. *No animals are allowed inside the Alehouse building or on the Patio.* 

When:

Every Monday evening at 6pm, rain or shine!

Location:

Starting from AKtive Soles Performance Footwear (642 S Alaska St STE 100, Palmer, AK 99645)
Ending at the Palmer Alehouse (320 E Dahlia Ave, Palmer, AK 99645)

Times:

The run starts at 6pm and the raffle starts at 7pm at the Alehouse. 

Weekly Raffle Information:

After completing each run/walk you will receive one raffle ticket to be entered into that day's raffle. If you incorporate the theme into your wardrobe or accesories, you are eligible to receive an extra raffle ticket.

Raffle prizes include:

• A Palmer Alehouse Individual Pizza
• Locally donated items:
  • Socks, T-shirts, Gift Cards, Nutrition Items, etc.

Food:

The Palmer Alehouse has food available for purchase for Happy Runners Only. They are generous enough to offer a slice of pizza for $5.00 OR a slice of pizza and salad for $7.00. If you would like to order off of their main menu please see below 'Palmer Alehouse Etiquette' for proper procedure.

Palmer Alehouse Etiquette:

During the winter months:

• If you would like to order off of their main menu, please talk to the host/hostess that is assisting with Happy Run in our designated location.

During the summer months:

• If you would like to sit at the patio and/or order off of the main menu please ask to be seated by the host/hostess that is managing the restaurant seating.
• There is also an outdoor food counter where you have the option to order off of a smaller set menu from the Alehouse menu. 
• A food truck may also be available at peak season to order alcohol beverages from. 

Course:

The Happy Run course alternates every other week between an Airport Route or a Springer Rd. Route. There are three distance options to participate in each week (approximately 2 miles, 5k, and 5 miles). The course map will have them distinguished and color coded, this map will be up every week at AKtive Soles (in the rear hallway/entrance of the Koslosky building).
