The Valdez Race Series is hitting the trails!
We’re so excited to get off the pavement and onto the scenic Mineral Creek Trail. Mark your calendars for July 11th — you won’t want to miss the Mineral Creek Trail Race! We will run 5/2 miles along the banks of Mineral Creek, enjoying the ocean views on Homestead trail and enjoying some amazing miles on the amazing trails Valdez has to offer.
REGISTRATION - Onsite registration will be available. Registration opens at 09 am, race start will be at 10 am. This event will start and finish at the Ike "Woody" Woodman Recreation Center.
This course will begin at the Rec center, turn onto Mineral Creek Rd, turn left at the base of water tower hill onto the east dike, turn right on Egan Dr crossing Betty Cato bridge, turn right onto West dike to complete an out and back, cross Egan dr to complete an out and back on the homestead trail, turn right on Egan Dr run across Betty Cato bridge again, turn left onto east dike, turn right onto West Hanagita to finish at the Rec center.
