OUR MISSION......

The First Baptist Church White Plains Mission team members are hosting this 5K to raise money for their upcoming trips to share the gospel.  We have several members who are going to various places.  We will be sending a group to share the gospel with the Sukuma and Zaramo people in Tanzania, Africa.  We will stay in a primitive area which means we will camp.  Our church will be adopting some of the villages.  What that means...is that we will continue even after this trip to go share the gospel, establish churches, and disciple new believers.  We are also building church buildings, equipping Pastors with Bibles and study material, and funding support to those we believe are furthering the gospel.  We are digging wells, helping schools with supplies, and have helped to buy equipment to some of the locals with medical needs.  There are a lot of moving parts to these trips.  If you every feel led to be a part, please come worship with us to learn more of what we are doing here and across the pond.  Some of our members will be going to the Dominican Republic, South Dakota, and New York.   

Please help us by Praying that the Lord will help us to effectively share the Hope and love of Jesus, the people will understand, and be receptive to the Holy Spirit.
