Description
Show your support of Ashville's track and field program by running (or walking!) our 5K or 1 mile fun run course through historic Ashville!
Register by April 7th to make sure you get a t-shirt!
Race participants who register by April 7th will receive a race day t-shirt. Registering after April 7th doesn't guarantee a race day t-shirt. Race participants will receive a pre-race goodie bag, and post race snacks and drinks will be provided.
Race day goodie bags and bibs may be picked up beginning at 6:30 A.M. on the Ashville Courthouse lawn.
The 5K race will begin at 8:00 A.M. The One Mile Fun Run will begin at 9:30 A.M. Several of our track team members will be available to run with younger one mile fun run participants!
Awards will follow the One Mile Fun Run once results are generated. While waiting for awards, make sure you visit our face painting area, and try your hand at our javelin, shot pot, and discus throwing areas!
Prizes will be given for TOP 3 overall male and female 5K finishers. Top 3 winners in 5K age groups will be provided with medals. Age groups are as follows.
14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Top 3 fun run participants (age 10 and under) will receive a trophy.
