Amber's Donor Dash

Our Mission:
On August 2, 2019, my amazing identical twin, Amber Ford left this earth.  Prior to her accident, Amber was a nurse and very passionate about organ donation awareness. When it was time for her to gain her wings, it only made sense to donate her organs. With her organ donation, she saved many lives.  After she passed away, I started Amber’s Donor Dash, LLC. to keep her memory alive and carry on her love for organ donation.  This fundraiser aids in spreading awareness regarding organ donation, helps other organ donors and organ recipient families in our community, and assists in raising money for Legacy of Hope (Donate Life Alabama). In addition, EAMC generously established a scholarship fund that will support Amber’s two children (Kalyn and Liam Ford) with college expenses.   This is our second year doing Amber's Donor Dash and we would love to have everyone join us!
