Description

As you may know, we got rained out on our original race date.  Since we have a short window, we decided to reopen online registration.

This event supports Sacred Selections, a not-for-profit organization that assists families in their quest to adopt a child.  It's a pretty amazing organization.  They operate with a volunteer board and minimal administrative costs.

All proceeds from this race will be donated to Sacred Selections to reduce the financial burden on a family willing to give a child a home.  Funds will be sent directly to Sacred Selections to assist families in process of adoption.  In the last six years, we have donated more than $66,000 to this cause and our event has grown each year.

We are excited to offer USATF Certified 10K and 5K courses as well as a 1-mile fun Run (not certified)!

Contact Joel Dixon @ jdixon0508@gmail.com with any questions.$40 --- 10K Registration (close 01/22/26)
$45 --- 10K Race Day Registration
$25 --- 5K Early Bird Special (by 11/15/25)
$30 — 5K Registration (closes 01/22/26)
$35 — 5K Race Day Registration
$20 — One Mile Fun Run (closes 01/22/26)

Race day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7:00 AM on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Shelby County Arts Council.

The course (USATF #AL19060JE) is fast and flat and promises a great opportunity at your next PR! We will begin and end at the brand-new Shelby County Arts Council facility.  The 10K course will basically be a double loop (USATF#AL21027JE).  Although the course is an open course, the City of Columbiana is partnering with us and providing police to control the flow of traffic to ensure runners are safe.

When the race is done, stick around and check out this beautiful facility and enjoy Columbiana’s quaint Main Street, visit our local businesses for unique shopping and enjoy the warmth of small town USA!

Please note, we are out of race shirts.  It's possible we may recover some from those who defer or are unable to run and choose to make their entry fee a donation.  But please understand, there are no promises.
