Sleigh Bell Run

***DAY OF, ON-SITE REGISTRATION 7:00am - 7:45am***

It's the most RUNderful time of the year, to ring your Sleigh Bell into the finish line. All in benefit to Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Alabama! Previously known as the Go BIG 5k, but this year we've decided to change things up and introduce our first ever Sleigh Bell Run. Enjoy music by DJ Rob, Hot Chocolate Bar sponsored by Supreme Lending, food trucks, Reindeer games and more. Come dressed in your favorite festive attire. Brought to you by Publix Charities.

Our Sleigh Bell Run encourages runners, parents, children, and community partners to exercise while maintaining healthy lifestyles. Don't want to run? You can still come and support your family and friends. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit organization that has been providing mentoring services for children in North Alabama for over 30 years. We invite you to join us!

 Time Limits: For your own safety and respect for the volunteers, there will be a strict course cutoff time. The final finish/cut off time will be 1.5 hours.

Medical & Aid:

Medical assistance will be provided by HEMSI. There will be one aid station, at approximately 1.5 miles. It is advised that you carry at least one bottle of fluids with you during the run/walk. In addition, please be advised that limited fluids will be provided at the middle and end stations, so if you have any particular caloric needs, you need to remember to have those available.

Course Description:

The 5k race will start/end at Meridian St and Cleveland Ave City Parking Lot @ AM Booth's Lumberyard. The Sleigh Bell Run will take runners and walkers through downtown Huntsville's Five Points historic district with beautiful sights along the way.
