Burning treads in my thrift store threads.
Wear your thrift store gear and join us in the Thrift N' Swifty 5K/8K Run. Race takes place on May 9, 2015 at 8am. The 5K is a flat course that starts on a paved surface and finishes on the Slave Quarters Road (chert). The 8k is a more challenging course that starts with the 5K and splits to follow the Iron Works Loop which has some significant hills and terrain. Both are great scenic courses. There will be a post race party including food and refreshments.
Registrants day of race are not guaranteed a race shirt. Race will happen rain or shine. However, in the event of hazardous weather we will cancel the race and there will be no refunds.
Early packet pick-up will be at Pleasant Hill United Methodist church on May 8 from 9am to 4pm. Race day registration will be at Tannehill State Park.
All proceeds benefit the efforts of Bessemer/McCalla Kingdom Builders.
