The Spooktacular Chase

The Spooktacular Chase includes a 5K Walk/Run and a 1 Mile Fun Run. This event will raise money to benefit the Second Chance Foundation.  Second Chance, located at 810 Cedar Street, is a private, non-profit, therapeutic behavioral remediation program targeted to students excluded from public schools in the River Region and their families.  Services include individual, group, and family counseling, academic and psychodiagnostic assessment, academic remediation, parent involvement and support groups, life skills instruction, therapeutic recreation, community service, Aftercare, and GED/basic skills instruction.  We are the primary referral source for at-risk teens involved in the juvenile justice system. 

The event will take place Saturday, October 27 at the Dexter Avenue fountain. Kick off will be at 9:00 a.m. with the 1 Mile Fun Run and the 5k Run/Walk will follow at 9:30 a.m.  Awards will be given for top qualifiers of the 5K.
