Description
The 9th annual Freaky Friday 8K Run takes place on a scenic yet scary course during the darkness of the Friday before Halloween "Freaky Friday". The event also includes a post-race event complete with food and drinks at Dreamland Barbecue and a costume contest prior to the start of the run. Local radio stations and craft beer will also be on hand for registered runners. Event details and schedule
The Freaky Friday 8K Run begins at 8:00 p.m. at Dreamland BBQ under the bridge in Northport. Parking is available at the restaurant and surrounding area. Please arrive early for check in. On-line registration deadline is at noon on Thursday October 25th. A free tshirt is included for those who register up to October 12th. Additional tshirts are available for purchase with registration. Costume Contest will be at 7:30 PM in the covered patio of the restaurant and will be judged by employees with Dreamland. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded.
