Strides for Rides 5K fun run / 1-mile walk will be on November 10, 2017 to support Spirithorse TRC equine programs. The trails are through Camp Hobbs - Boy Scout Camp located in Prattville, Alabama. The 5K will be on cross country trails through woods and around a beautiful lake or you could do an easy 1 mile walk around the lake. Children under 10 are free with registered adult. The cost is $30 for the event which includes breakfast and receives a T-shirt if registered by October 31, 2017. Teams of 4 people can sign up for a discount of $5 per person. The funds raised with help provide equine activities for special needs children and children of deployed service members of the US military.

Event details and schedule:
4th Strides for Rides will be on November 10, 2017 at 8:30 am and check-in starts at 7:30. Be careful to go to the old Camp Hobbs is just off County Road 40 drive passed County Road 59 and look for Camp HOBBS sign on the left. Follow signs to parking and be sure to register at the sign-in tent by 8:00 am. The opening ceremony is at 8 am with special veterans salute. The race starts at 8:30 with breakfast after the fun run for registered participants and all guest may eat with a suggested donation of $5.

Each student will have individual attention to help reach his / her full potential through the interaction with the horse. The SpiritHorse methods are proven and award-winning techniques. To achieve these positive benefits, students will proceed through the program according to their own ability.
