4th Annual Barrie Hirst Memorial 5K*

at Tuscaloosa Central YMCA

Registration Begins: 7 a.m. - Race Start Time: 8 a.m.

This is the 4th year the YMCA has directed the Barrie Hirst Memorial 5K Race. Barrie’s untimely death occurred July 15, 2007, when he was struck and killed by a drunk driver. Barrie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a loyal member of the YMCA and an avid runner. The funds raised through this event will benefit the YMCA Youth First Programs.

1st, 2nd & 3rd Overall Male & Female

Grand Masters Male & Female

Masters Male & Female

1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female in the following categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over.

The first 75 registrants will receive a T-shirt on the day of the race, and all participants will be entered into a drawing for door prizes.
