Paint the Town Pink

On June 6, 2014, Corrie Gross Bechtelheimer lost a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Before losing her fight she had expressed and shown many times that she wanted to help other cancer warriors with the expenses they faced while fighting their battles. In memory of Corrie, her family formed a non-profit organization, #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation, to provide grants to assist cancer warriors of Union County with medical expenses incurred by cancer treatment.  To date #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation has given over 80 grants. 

On October 6th, we will host our 6th annual Paint the Town Pink 5K Color Fun Run/Walk, and we hope to help fulfill Corrie’s dream by continuing to raise money for this foundation. This is not a race, but an opportunity for people of all ages to gather and show their support for this work. All proceeds from the event will go directly to #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation.
