Come join Gary Taylor and Jen Hillier Found for a week long cross country camp this summer! It's going to be fun! The camp is for boys and girls going into the 5th through 8th grades. The week long camp will be at the Catholic High School track, starting at 7:30am each day and ending at 9:30am.
Children attending will run with the coaches then learn racing and training techniques, how to stay healthy, and many other aspects of cross country running to prepare for the season ahead. Each day will end with a workout, a relay, or maybe even a little race - all done in an atmosphere that focuses on fun and learning.
Children will need to bring water and wear light, loose fitting clothes, a towel, and shoes they can run in.
Jen Hillier Found is a former Kansas State University runner and middle school coach. She is a mother of two great kids who run and is still an avid runner and racer herself. Gary Taylor is a former Arkansas Razorback All-American in cross country and track. He has coached track and cross country at Catholic High School for over 10 years. Gary is the father of four kids, two of which currently run track at Oklahoma University and the University of Arkansas.
