Why We Run
This annual race is held in memory of our loved ones who ran the race of life well, regardless of how long or short their race may have been. This race also honors those currently fighting the good fight, running the race, and keeping the faith. The proceeds from this race benefit HopePlace Monticello, where Jerry Woodall served as a board member. Jerry loved the Lord and his family. He was also an avid runner. A race, to benefit HopePlace, was his dream. We are thankful to be able to carry that dream out in his memory.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 (ESV)
