Meet Okie!

Okie entered the Pet Peace of Mind program when his owner passed away in 2022. Okie was an outside dog, so he had to learn some inside manners and had to be house-trained. Davis Animal Hospital got Okie caught up on vaccinations and medications, treated his kennel cough, microchipped and neutered him, and lovingly bathed and groomed him.

We arranged for Okie to be fostered at Dog Party USA while he awaited the perfect family that would meet his needs. Their dog trainer, Neptaly, began working with him on manners, potty training, and leash training. He was a quick learner and thrived in his new environment. It wasn’t long before Neptaly and Okie connected and fell in love. Okie is happy and is enjoying his new home and family.

Thank you for supporting our Pet Peace of Mind program and helping animals, like Okie find a new home.
