Because of the Brave

Join us in our 3rd annual Because of the Brave 5k or 1 mile Honor Walk as we remember & honor the Brave men and women who have served our country, especially those who have given their lives for our freedom.  We are inviting all veterans to come run our flag lined course filled with posters of appreciation along the way.  If you can't handle 3.1 miles that’s ok enjoy our 1 mile Honor Walk.  Our 1 Mile Honor Walk is to Honor those who have served and those that are currently serving. Wear Red, White and Blue, or your favorite military apparel and carry a flag, or photo of a special veteran. It will be a lead course and free to 5K participants, this is a great cool down for our 5K.  Bring your children along to run as a family, every child will receive a prize for running/walking in our 5K, and a special treat bag.  Most of all we would like to say Thank you to all of our military and our wonderful race sponsors.

Register by May 1st to guarantee a t-shirt and packet. Registration $20.00 for adults, $15.00 for veterans and kids.  Race Day registration $25.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids  Run as a team of 5 recieve a $2.00 discount per person. All teams must register by May 19th. 

 100% of Proceeds will go to the Poyen Veteran's Memorial Fund
