Ya'at'eeh! Welcome to the Chinle Wellness Center's 6th Annual 10K and Half-Marathon. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are making some changes to our event this year. Although we are not able to come together in-person this year, you still have the opportunity to join us VIRTUALLY, for a run. Our goal this year is to celebrate a healthy active lifestyle through two event options: 10K and Half-Marathon. You get to choose your own trail, and monitor your own time.

REGISTRATION

Online registration for the 10K and Half-Marathon event will begin September 16, 2020 and end on October 24, 2020. Participants 12 years of age or older may register for the event.

HOW TO TRACK YOUR RUN

Track your run by downloading any GPS APP of your choice (Map My Run, Runkeeper, Strava, Endomondo, Fit Bit, Suunto, Garmin, Nike Run Club, Adidas Running etc.). Track your mileage and time then submit your results.

THE CHINLE SERVICE UNIT DOES NOT ENDORSE ANY TYPE OF GPS APP YOU PREFER TO DOWNLOAD AND TRACK YOUR RUN

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS

After you complete your full event distance, log your distance and time HERE. You are given one-month to submit your event results from September 16 to October 24, 2020. Participants must complete their full event distance, 6.2 miles or 13.1 miles, in order to receive a t-shirt. After October 24, 2020 11:59 PM (MST) distances shorter than required are incomplete.

EARN YOUR T-SHIRT

This event is a non-competitive run. This years event will not include overall male and female awards or age category. We will, however, give finishers a t-shirt for completing their FULL event.

FINISHERS

Finishers that completed their FULL event distance will have the option to pick up their t-shirt behind the Chinle Wellness Center Drive-Thru, or have their t-shirt mailed out.
Pick up date is October 29, 2020 from 8:00am-11:00am (MST). Please remain in your vehicle and a face mask is required for pick-up.
Chinle Wellness Center staff will NOT be distributing t-shirts after 11:00am (MST) and staff will be in the process of having t-shirts mailed out on October 29, 2020.
